A little about me... I was
born and raised in
Southeast Michigan, and I
attended Michigan State
University. I worked in
Telecom for 19 years
before taking the plunge
into a full-blown writing
career, having left my job
to immerse myself in
Jerry Jenkins' Inner Circle
class, where I was
interviewed and selected
as one of 12 participants.
Since 2020, I've been under
the tutelage of Jerry
Jenkins' programs starting
with the completion of the
Inner Circle course and
joining Your Novel
Blueprint, 9 Days to Better
Writing, Fiction Track, and
becoming a member of
his Writer's Guild. I've
continued to hone my
writing craft through many
resources offered by DIY
MFA, Michael Hyatt, K. M.
Weiland, and the
Christian Writer's Institute.
I continue to consume any
and all author resources
that feed my writing soul,
to live out the dream God
planted in my heart.

Shannon is blessed to have
an incredibly supportive
husband, two amazing
children, and a fully grown
dog that acts like a puppy.
She loves the four beautiful
seasons of Michigan and
is happy to stay there so
long as her 'almost grown'
children do.
